Residents of Ames, Bern, Canaan, and Rome townships in Athens County, and Homer Township in Morgan County, are invited to the Ames-Bern-Amesville Volunteer Fire Department open house on Saturday, May 20th from 12 noon to 4PM. Watch the ABAVFD volunteers cut up a car, tour the station, enter to win door prizes, and enjoy some good cooking. We will also have a yard sale and a recruitment table for anyone interested in joining the department.
