Athens Friends and Newcomers (AFAN) will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, April 11th at The Plains United Methodist Church, 3 N. Plains Road. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm). The program features entertainment from the Ohio Valley School of Celtic Dance and Culture which is the proud home of the Athens Irish Dancers. The dancers will perform traditional and modern Irish dances, including reels, ceili, and slip jigs. The meal will be baked steak or veggie lasagna along with side dishes and dessert.
