The Athens Friends and Newcomers (AFAN) December Program features “Difficult Conversations.”  Rachel Szostek, director of the Athens Area Mediation Services will present a hands-on workshop about the nature of conflict, understanding and responding to different perspectives, and discovering interests in difficult conversations.  The program will be held at Christ the King Parish Hall on December 13, 2018 at noon with registration starting at 11:30am.  The lunch will consist of soup, meat sandwiches or vegetarian eggplant parmesan and salad.  The cost is $11.00 RSVP by Sunday, December 6th before 6:00 pm to lemurray56@gmail.com or call 740-707-2078.  State if you want the meat sandwiches or the vegetarian meal.
