The Athens Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 at 44 Elmwood Place in Athens.  The plants are collected from the gardens of club members and will include astilbe, hosta, daylilies, coral bells, iris, blackberry lily, rudebeckia, campanula, columbine, monarda, lily of the valley, sweet woodruff, ajuga, pachysandra and much more.  Proceeds from the sale go to support the care and development of the Club’s gardens at the Johnny Appleseed Park and O’Bleness Hospital.  The club also makes donations to Wahkeena Nature Preserve and to state and regional scholarships
