Athens Pride Fest Picnic and Hike

Athens Pride Fest is being organized by Ohio University LGBT Center, Southeast Ohio LGBTQ+ Center, Southeastern Ohio LGBT Coalition. Athens Pride Fest is a week long celebration of solidarity, diversity, unity, and activism.
Come out for our finale! It’s our big family day! Come out to the BOBCAT SHELTER at Strouds Run State Park. This shelter is near the bathrooms, has shade, and is close to the amenities offered at the State Park. We encourage people to bring and share food. We hope to organize food trucks and have additional catered food available. We are currently looking for catering donations.
We will organize casual hikes throughout the day. Strouds Run offers boating, fishing, playground, hiking trails, and basketball.
***WE WILL BE MAKING AN EFFORT TO MAKE THIS EVENT ZERO WASTE. WE ARE PARTNERING WITH Rural Action TO MAKE THIS A REALITY.***
