Best Dam Festival in Ohio

FreeBurr Oak Alive!, the friends group for Burr Oak State Park, will host the 2nd Annual Best Dam Festival in Ohio, on Saturday, August 5.
Activities will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Tom Jenkins Dam, off of State Route 13, and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Burr Oak Beach. There will be food and craft vendors, pontoon rides, exhibits by ODNR and Wayne National Forest, and a scavenger hunt. There will be a special hike to the Pioneer Cemetery with the Buckeye Trail Association and A Turtle’s View Tour starting at 9 a.m. at the Dam. Featured again this year is the Poker Float- “Not your typical poker run- float in a boat”.
