Brass Roots Trio

$15The Flemington, NJ-based Brass Roots Trio, hailed as “…one of the most compelling ensembles of the 21st century”, will perform at Ohio University Southern on Sunday, November 10 at 3 p.m. in the Ohio University Southern Riffe Rotunda. Admission is $15 and can be paid at the door with cash or check payable to the “Ironton Council for the Arts”. The performance is free for students and children of all ages.
Performers include DR. TRAVIS HEATH (trumpet & flugelhorn), DR. DOUGLAS LUNDEEN (French horn & vocalist) and ROSETTA SENKUS BACON (piano). The trio’s concert programs are an eclectic mix of styles. From a Baroque duet with piccolo trumpet and horn to jazz inspired Gershwin to Piazzolla’s decadent tangos and American Spirituals. BRASS ROOTS TRIO has played to standing ovations and rave reviews in every corner of the US and England since 2004. In 2009 the trio was honored to perform for President and Mrs. Obama and their guests at the White House.
