The Chillicothe Halloween Festival (CHF) is back and better than ever, taking over Yoctangee Park in Downtown Chillicothe from October 11 to 13. This highly anticipated annual event not only promises a weekend full of Halloween fun but also supports a noble cause, as the festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the community.
The Chillicothe Halloween Festival is celebrated for its exciting mix of family-friendly activities and spooky thrills. This year’s festivities are set to deliver a memorable experience with a range of attractions designed to entertain all ages.

Haunted Attraction: Dare to navigate through our Haunted Attraction, featuring spine-chilling scares and eerie surprises that will keep you jumping all the way through.
Pumpkin Patch & Carving: Select your perfect pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch and join our carving contest. Showcase your artistic flair for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Costume Contest: Dress up in your most creative Halloween attire and compete in our Costume Contest. There are categories for all ages, and fantastic awards await the most imaginative costumes.
Live Entertainment: Enjoy a variety of live performances, including local bands, magicians, and entertainers, ensuring the festival remains lively and engaging throughout the weekend.
Food & Craft Vendors: Indulge in delicious Halloween-themed treats and shop for unique crafts from our diverse array of vendors. There’s something to satisfy every taste and style.
Family Fun Zone: Our Family Fun Zone offers interactive games, face painting, and other activities designed to create fun and lasting memories for children.
Coffin Races: A Halloween-themed take on the traditional soap-box derby where contestants race their homemade coffins in heats and intervals to take the top three winning places.
