Christmas Open House At Ross County Historical Society

You are invited to our 2019 Christmas Open House!
Featuring our one-of-a-kind Christmas tree decorated with hundreds of hand-cut paper ornaments by local Scherenschnitte artist Bonnie Grove, and a charming Victorian Christmas parlor with late 19th and early 20th century holiday decorations and toys.
You can also enjoy our permanent exhibits, “Toys from the Attic,” and “Chillicothe’s Model Railroad.” New this year is a special exhibit on Ross County’s German culture. The event will be another opportunity to see our current exhibit in the McKell Library, “Ross County’s Authors & Artists.”
Enjoy traditional holiday dulcimer music and browse the museum store for unique holiday gifts, including handmade jewelry and hard-to-find publications on local and regional history for those history buffs on your shopping list!
