The Cloth to Clothing Symposium is the final event in this summer series, featuring regional partners sharing their knowledge on topics relevant to textile and garment making in Southeast Ohio.  This one- day presentation, focused on topics of textile processes, clothing design, and garment construction, offers the opportunity for deeper learning from the professionals who lead the workshop sessions. Our speakers will emphasize their scholarly research, art and design practices, and industry experience to round out our week of professional development.

You’ll hear the stories, research, and expertise of creative and inspirational experts within our community and beyond as they discuss collaborations that connect the world of textiles and fashion.

There is a full-day schedule of panels and speakers. You can network and connect with this energized community while enjoying the provided light lunch and refreshments during the mid-day break. Samplings from our workshop series will be on display, with many of the participants available to discuss all that they learned.
