The Ironton Council for the Arts presents its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ironton High School Auditorium. Featured performers are the  35-member D.M. Davis Ladies’, Men’s, and Mixed Choirs from Jackson, OH. Their performance will feature Christmas and holiday seasonal favorites. Several choir members were recently selected to perform Handel’s Messiah at Carnegie Hall with other singers from around the world.

D.M. Davis Ladies’ and Men’s Choirs honor the memory of local music educator D. Merrill Davis, a long-time vocal music teacher in the Jackson City Schools. Davis also established and directed many church and civic musical groups.

Admission is $15, tickets may be purchased at the performance, and students are admitted free. The high school is handicap accessible.
