Good Works began providing shelter, care and community to adults and children who experience homelessness in 1981. The purpose of DAY IN THE LIFE is to provide an educational experience to adults and children to enlarge our perspective and replenish our compassion for those who experience poverty and struggle to navigate homelessness in our community. Join Good Works for a simulation experience detailing the realities of homelessness, or learn about the process of addiction recovery with the Southwestern Recovery Center. A free lunch of rice and beans will also be provided.
