Jacob Parker: A Solo Show
A series of offset printed artworks which will be on display May 3rd-30th.

The opening features live music by the Water Witches, plus refreshments!
All free and open to the public! Be prepared to think deeply about life, love and self-worth in this mind-opening show

Jacob is a printmaker from North Carolina. Working primarily in relief and screen printing, he explores the intricacies involved in personal myth-making and self-identification, and the impact which it has on our interpersonal relationships.

(pause): poetic paintings about a place of stillness
A solo show by Katie Chandler, featuring a series of paintings which will be on display May 3rd-31st.

The opening reception includes refreshments and live piano music from Amy Abercrombie

Katie Chandler is an illustrator & designer from Columbus, OH, making colorful shapes into compassion and curiosity. They love transforming big ideas into simple pieces and creating calm, inviting spaces. Purpose with playfulness is their jam!

A portion of sales will benefit the PRISM: LGBTQ Youth Art Program based in Athens, OH. Come check out their work, grab a bite, and support a good cause!

About the Show:
The world likes to shout – be more, be less, go faster, do more, more, more. Seemingly, it thinks we shouldn’t go slow, do nothing, be still, be enough – simply, be. What if you remembered the bliss contained within you? A you-topia where you are full, quiet and calm, no matter the noise? A pause, any moment you need.

(pause) is series of poetic paintings about a place of stillness. Inviting you to (pause), to remember where you are, who you are, why you are.
