On Sternwheel Festival weekend, the congregation of the First Baptist Church of Marietta will mark 200 years of worship with three events open to the public.

Events include:

Saturday, Sept. 8: Open house from 2-4 p.m. featuring historical displays, tours and refreshments

Sunday, Sept. 9: The Traditional and Contemporary ALIVE services will be combined for a 10:30 a.m. anniversary worship celebration

Sunday, Sept. 9: The church will host a free concert by the Buckeye Travelers Band from Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary
