Fix-It Workshop at Athens Makerspace

You are invited to the first Athens Makerspace Fix-it Workshop, just like what ReUse Industries has hosted in the past – but bigger!
This event is Family-Friendly: Children accompanied by an adult are welcome.
Bring your broken or non-functioning things for assessment and possible repair
We’ll provide workspace, tools and Volunteer Fixing Coaches to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item
WHAT TO BRING:
• your non-working thing (carry-in only)
• accessories and tools you already own that might be helpful
• boxes, bags and/or small containers to organize (and carry away) parts.
• Electronics (DVD players, CD players, radios, chargers, etc)
• Small appliances (toasters, coffee makers, blenders, portable heaters, lamps, etc) NO MICROWAVES
• Computers** (desktops, laptops, tablets, etc)
• Toys (remote control cars, learning notebooks, handheld game consoles, etc)
• Small Furniture Pieces (Walk-In Only)
• Bicycles
• Fabric (clothing, curtains, bedding, stuffed animals)
**FOR COMPUTERS: please bring original system software installation discs
