Join us for The Castle’s new series combining food, fun, and local history. In this program you will be able to test recipes taken directly from Matchless Cookery: As Done by Marietta’s Best Cooks . The Congregational Church compiled local recipes into this cookbook in 1915. In addition to enjoying a meal authentic to 1915 Marietta, you will get a chance to learn about the local individuals whose recipes we will be using, Marietta in the early 1900s, and why cookbooks actually make for a great historical resource.
