John Terry Art Opening at Arts West (Downstairs Gallery)
Friday, July 5th, 5-7pm, as part of a double opening with the Passion Works: Guitar Show.The opening reception is free and will include refreshments. John is a local printmaker and painter who has been producing work for a couple of decades. His show will be on display in the Arts West Lower Gallery July 5th-27th.

Artist Bio – John Tavener Terry is a mixed media artist with a B.F.A. in printmaking from West Virginia University and an M.F.A. in painting from Ohio University.  His thesis show entitled “Rebuilding the Rhythm of the City and Soul” garnered high accolades among his peers.  John recently exhibited a solo show in New York City and his art has graced the covers of several albums including those of his younger brother’s band, Red Wanting Blue.  John resides in the foothills of southern Ohio and enjoys finding beauty in the simple things in life.
