WellWorks wants to celebrate the diversity of all of our amazing bodies in this 60 minute workshop where you can learn modifications for a variety of movement patterns to accommodate mobility and flexibility limitations.
We’ve all been there: while trying to follow instructions for physical movement, our body just needs a special modification to make it work. Sometimes, it can be difficult to figure out the modification, though. In a time when many of us are working out at home to fitness videos, we don’t have the benefit of an instructor or personal trainer there to help us find that modification. Whether you experience joint pain, have limited flexibility, experience reduced mobility, or your body shape/size changes the movement, you’re not alone in this journey.
In this 60-minute virtual (via Zoom) workshop, Jenn Bennett will offer a general understanding of body movement pattern modifications for a variety of body shapes, sizes and abilities to help you make the most of your at-home workouts. The program will include 40 minutes of instruction (with breaks) and 20 minutes of Q&A. All participants will be emailed a pre-event questionnaire so they can provide questions in advance.
