How have the people who have resided within the boundaries of Hocking County, from thousands of years ago to present day, been impacted by the physical geography and geology around them? In what ways have the interconnectedness of different industrial eras within Logan and Hocking County built upon one other over time? And how have these eras have shaped the residents’ lives thus far?

Tyler is the president of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds Council. He has also given numerous historic presentations for Little Cities of Black Diamonds, Appalachian Understories, the Hocking County Historical Society, and various Ohio University classes. His presentation will be free an open to the public, so bring your lunch and learn with us!
