Join Friends of Lower Muskingum River (FLMR), February 4 at 1 pm, in Room 101 of Marietta College’s Rickey Science Center, for a maple syrup making workshop for the small-scale producer. The workshop is geared towards those that would like to make maple syrup for themselves and their family. Maple syrup can be made at home with just a small investment in equipment. A maple-tapping beginners kit that includes a tap, food-grade tubing, and a food grade bucket with lid will be available if you preregister.
