Folks in Morgan County are asking Ohioans along Ohio State Route 60 to help launch a new event in September that can bring thousands of visitors to the area.

The event is THE OHIO 60 YARD SALE – SEPTEMBER 15 – 18.

Events like the “National Road” Yard Sale, or the U.S. 127 Yard Sale attract thousands of visitors who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on lodging, food, beverages, gasoline, souvenirs, and of course, on yard sale items.

The OHIO 60 YARD SALE will run the full length of Ohio State Route 60, from the Ohio River to Lake Erie!

This is far more than a community yard sale. Visitors will be spending the night along the route; they will be eating at restaurants; they will be buying gasoline; they will be shopping at retail stores.
