OhioHealth UpBEAT History Group: The Past and Present Chesterhill Produce Auction

November 10 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free
The logo for UpBeat, which reads Upbeat: be educated and active

In 2004, Jean and Marvin Konkle founded the Chesterhill Produce Auction with the help of Rural Action, local farmers, agriculture extension agents and a committed group of buyers. What started as an auction taking place under a tent, has now grown in the number of auctions and size. Join us virtually, by telephone or computer device, or in-person (RSVP required) to learn more about the history of and the present day Chesterhill Produce Auction, which continues its all-important mission of expanding local food access in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Presented by: Jessica Dotson & Tom Redfern. UpBEAT (Be Educated and Active Together) is a program for those aged 55 years and over. Membership is free. To sign up to receive our monthly UpBEAT newsletter, to learn how you can join us virtually (by phone or technology device) or RSVP for attending the program in-person (RSVP taken on first come, first serve basis as space is limited), contact Caitlin Bond, UpBEAT Program Coordinator by phone at 740-566-4680 or e-mail at Caitlin.Bond@ohiohealth.com.
