Running for Local Office 101

The League of Women Voters of Athens County is excited to present a Running for Local Office 101 information session. Local offices include Village Council, Village Mayor, School Board, and Township Trustees. In Athens county all of these positions are non-partisan. The information session will include an overview of the process, handouts, and a local elected official will share their experiences running for office.
The guest speaker is Sam Sikorski, Glouster Mayor.
Anyone from Athens County is welcome to attend the event – whether you plan to run for office or just want to learn more about the process.
