Have you ever been walking in the woods and heard, “Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you-all?” and no one was there? Come join Rural Action’s Sunday Creek Watershed Group and ODNR State Park naturalist, Pat Quackenbush, for a wintry Thursday night Owl Prowl! We will meet at Burr Oak Lodge for a short presentation and then will have the opportunity interact with live owls! Next, we will head outside for a hike to call Barred Owls! Wow! Please dress for the weather, bring a flashlight or headlamp if you desire, and remember it’s important to be quiet so we don’t scare the owls away. This event is family friendly. Burr Oak Lodge will also offer a special meal of soup beans and cornbread available for purchase before the event. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served.
