The Actors Guild of Parkersburg proudly presents The Miracle Worker, a powerful and moving production directed by Charles Matthews, running January 17–26. Sponsored by the Lions Club of Parkersburg, this production tells the extraordinary story of resilience, perseverance, and the human spirit.

The Miracle Worker, written by William Gibson, dramatizes the inspiring true story of Helen Keller and her governess Annie Sullivan. After a childhood illness leaves Helen blind and deaf, her family struggles to communicate with her and manage her frustrations. Annie Sullivan, a spirited young teacher from the Perkins Institute for the Blind, brings hope and change, unlocking Helen’s world with determination, creativity, and love.
