Upcycle Crafty Saturdays at Athens Makerspace

FreeCome to Athens Makerspace for a afternoon of upcycle crafts for all ages! Your choice of two cozy crafts:
The first opportunity is to learn a no-sew technique to create a fleece blanket to be donated to area schoolchildren through ComCorps.
The second is to upcycle old holiday cards into a snazzy, spiraly ball for holiday decorating! This versatile and fun project can be made into an ornament, window hanging, or table centerpiece.
If you have any extra fleece fabric or holiday cards hanging around your house that you would like to donate to the cause, we would love to have them!
Light refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome. We hope you can make it!
