October 21, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

FREE

Explore the roles Washington County citizens played in responding to the country’s needs during the First World War with a day of demonstrations and interactive activities. Learn how local citizens helped from home or in the service of the Red Cross, how the Salvation Army comforted soldiers just beyond the trenches, and how Washington County fathers, sons, and brothers serving in Marietta’s Ohio National Guard unit prepared for their impending actions in France. Look back to Marietta 100 years ago. Partners with Friends of the Armory.
