The Sustainability Film series is working collaboratively with the Environmental Studies program, Athena Cinema and Alden Library to offer free admission to the virtual film Lunch Love and Community for 24 hours July 14 beginning at 8:30 culminating with a zoom panel at 8:30 on July 15. The panel will be professionals and students working on local food access and school gardens.
The film explores social justice through the lens of food and offers opportunities to explore challenges and solutions. It shares with us the value of community and engagement at the local level. In addition, it explores the health, social and racial challenges we find ourselves examining in our country and globally through food access.
