Weekend Survival Workshop with Joe Brehm

Registration Fee: $135
Join Joe Brehm at Camp Oty’Okwa for an overnight wilderness survival workshop. Participants will build and sleep in survival shelters, will be introduced to several different fire-starting techniques, and will make simple meals and wild tea over a fire started without matches. The workshop will be fairly strenuous and participants will be exposed to the elements.
Suggested gear includes:
-Clothes for all weather
-Hiking boots
-Sleeping bag
-Water bottle
-Small backpack/ day pack
-Recommended but not necessary: poncho tarp, parachute cord, compass. handkerchief, enamel cup to use on the fire.
Registration includes two lunches, a campfire dinner, and breakfast. Registration fees will also pay for a Mora knife for every participant.
