Ron Luce and Tom O'Grady discuss the life and work of W.E. Peters
Athens County Historical Society and Museum Executive Director Ron Luce speaks with Tom O'Grady, ACHSM president, about the life and work of W.E. Peters (1857-1952).
Peters was an author, lawyer and surveyor who engineered several Athens County railroad lines, identified dozens of Native American burial mounds and wrote many books, including Legal History of the Ohio University and A Ride Around Athens County.
Peters' extensive map work of Athens County is still used today.
