Two Vehicle Pickaway Co. Crash Kills Elderly Passenger

Sheriff Dwight Radcliff says 60-year-old Cassandra Combs, of Williamsport, was driving north on Pherson Pike, stopped at a stop sign at the route's intersection with State Route 56, and pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 72-year-old Walter Haddox, of Williamsport, the two vehicles collided.

 

Combs's passenger, 80-year-old Garnetta Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
