An Athens County man accused of entering a Nelsonville apartment without permission in April has been admitted to a behavioral hospital until he is deemed competent to stand trial.

Athens County Sheriff Patrick Kelly said deputies escorted Chad Kister, 42, of Nelsonville from his Common Pleas Court hearing to the Southeast Ohio Behavior Hospital following a judge's order on Monday.

Kister is alleged to have entered, without permission, the home of a woman who was renting from him on Bessemer Road in mid-April.
