The first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament showed just how crazy this year will be up in the Quicken Loans Arena.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 8 Buffalo and No. 9 Central Michigan were in a tight overtime battle, where the Bulls escaped with a two-point victory and will be facing Ball State in the quarterfinals.
The second round of the MAC Tournament is Wednesday, March 13, with both games being broadcasted on SportsTime Ohio. The first game between No. 5 Ball State and Buffalo is scheduled to tipoff at 6:30 p.m., and the second game between Eastern Michigan and Miami starts at 9 p.m.
As for the Bobcats, they’ll be preparing for the teams on their side of the bracket. They are a perfect 4-0 against teams remaining on their side. As for the rest of the field, they are 9-2, with their two losses coming to No. 1 seed Akron. The Zips are 3-2 against the remaining teams on their side of the bracket.
