Dominique Doseck was named to the First Team All-Ohio squad for Division II Monday morning. Doseck paved the way for the Bulldogs, who have now won consecutive district titles.
This isn’t Doseck’s first time receiving high honors, as she was named to the Third Team All-Ohio squad last season. Doseck finished the season averaging over 21 points per game and tacked up over 40 percent of Athens’ scoring in the playoffs.
She wasn’t just a scoring threat, as she reeled in five rebounds per game, close to 4.5 assists per game and just under four steals per game.
Doseck is currently slated in the top three in every offensive statistic in Athens history. To top it all off, Doseck is a junior and will have all of next season to improve upon her already impressive numbers.
Doseck was not the only Bulldog tabbed with All-Ohio honors, as teammates Hannah DeBruin and Olivia Harris received Honorable Mention.
Vinton County forward Michaela Puckett also picked up All-Ohio honors in Division II, being named Special Mention.
