Deadly Accident In Middleport

A deadly accident occurred in Middleport on Monday. Christopher Styer, a 35-year-old Pomeroy man, was killed while installing gutters at Manley's Recycling.
The accident occurred when Styer came into contact with a bees nest while working on a roof. As a result the gutter on the roof came in contact with a power line.
A second worker was also injured in the accident. Troy Boggs, Jr., from Chester, is in intensive care in a Huntington hospital, according to a dispatcher at the Middleport Police Department.
