< < Back to governor-appoints-hocking-trusteesA Nelsonville native and a Hocking College alumnus will serve as trustees for the school during the next three years. Governor John Kasich appointed Mike Brooks and Mike Budzik to the Hocking College Board of Trustees.
The governor re-appointed Brooks to the position. The retired Rocky Boots executive had been filling in the remainder of a three-year term left by a former board member since February of this year.
Budzik graduated from Hocking and worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources until 2003. He retired as the Chief of the Division of Wildlife.
Brooks and Budzik fill two of the three governor-appointed seats on the nine-member board.
