Rollover Crash Car Displayed At Lancaster High School
< < Back to rollover-crash-car-displayed-lancaster-high-schoolA smashed-up car from a rollover crash has been temporarily placed outside an Ohio high school to remind students about seat belt safety.
Sheriff Dave Phalen in central Ohio's Fairfield County says the driver was buckled up and received only a small scratch on her foot even though the car rolled approximately five times after it ran off a road and struck an embankment. Phalen said in a statement today that he hopes the display at Lancaster High School will help keep kids safe over the long Labor Day weekend.
He says motorists who are belted in have a 75 percent better chance of surviving a rollover wreck.
