Land Near Logan Permanently Preserved

About 74 acres of land located near Logan will be permanently preserved.
This will be done through a new protection agreement between Capital University and the Appalachia Ohio Alliance.
The property is known as the Merl and Margaret Primmer Outdoor Learning Center.
The Primmers donated their farm to Capital University and Capital worked out a deal with the Appalachia Alliance.
The property includes about 15 acres of a high-quality wetland and a large Great Blue Heron rookery.
