Roderick McDavis sent an e-mail to O.U. faculty and staff today to mark the first day of classes.
He says he will make the speech during the faculty and staff convocation at 3 p.m. in the Margaret M. Walter Hall Rotunda on the Athens campus.
McDavis says, "As a community, it is important for us to come together at the beginning of the 2011-2012 academic year to celebrate the past and look to the future."

The address will be streamed live on woub.org for those who can't attend.
