Athens Named “Top College Towns”

Almost every Ohio University alum says Athens is the top college town in the nation, but now, they're not the only ones.
MSN named Athens one of the nation's top college towns.
It's one of eight on the list.
The others include Boone, North Carolina, the home of Appalachian State and and Kalamazoo, Michigan, home of Western Michigan University.
The article compares OU's campus to a Norman Rockwell painting and praises the town's thriving farmers' market.
It also talks about the annual Halloween party and calls it one of the nation's best.
