The Philo Electrics took on the West Muskingum Tornadoes in a conference matchup Friday night. The Electrics beat the Tornadoes in the game 45-20. The game started with the home team and underdog Tornadoes driving 85 yards on two plays capped by a wonderful catch and run by Shey Herd off a nice pass from quarterback Clay Mussleman.

Philo responded with a four yard touchdown run by Shayne Tanner which was the first of 17 unanswered points by the Electrics. The Tornadoes would get another score before half from Shey Herd on an end around that went for 48 yards.

With a 17-14 lead coming out of the intermission the Electrics took advantage of short fields and would score on their first two possessions of the half. Behind the legs of Shayne Tanner and Nick Dorman the Electrics took advantage of a very bleak Tornadoes roster, which consisted of only 24 players. The Tornadoes gave a great fight throughout the game but struggled with special teams and the battle of field position.

The now (4-2, 4-1) Electrics will face off against the undefeated Sheridan Generals next Friday at home. While the winless Tornadoes try to snap the losing streak against the Crooksville Ceramics.
