Two Found Dead In Noble County

Noble County authorities discovered two area residents dead in a submerged vehicle this morning.

According to a news release, Sheriff's Office dispatchers received a call of a vehicle submerged in a pond on Tower Road in in Buffalo Township.

Sheriff Stephen Hannum, two deputies, a dive team, and members of the Belle Valley Fire Deptartment went to the scene.

After removing the vehicle from the water, responders discovered two bodies inside — Jeffrey Crock, 43, and Melissa Voorhies, 33, both of Cumberland.

Authorities report the vehicle, which was not registered to either of its occupants, ran off the road and overturned.

The time of the crash is uncertain.
