Ohio University Club Team Twitter Handle Causes Quite A Stir

The Twitter handle of the Ohio Women's Crew club team at Ohio University is causing quite a stir on Twitter today.
This afternoon, Ohio University re-tweeted the Ohio Women's Crew team had joined Twitter under the handle @ohiowomenscrew.
The Ohio University post was retweeted all across the nation because the handle can be read as "Ohio Women Screw."
A member of the crew team says she accidentally left the team's Twitter account logged in on a computer or tablet when she was testing them at a store. From there, she believes someone accessed the account and changed the handle from the original @ohiowomencrew.
The account has since been deleted. The team member says she has no immediate plans to re-instate the Twitter handle.
Ohio University Spokeswoman Katie Quaranta says the university has no comment on the issue.
