Football: Keller and Strum to play in All-Star Game
< < Back to football-keller-and-strum-play-all-star-gameNo Ohio football players were invited to the Senior Bowl, but two will play in another player showcase game.
Ohio linebacker Noah Keller and All-MAC offensive lineman A.J. Strum will participate in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in Tucson, Ariz. on Jan. 16.
Both are in playing preparation for the NFL Draft, which takes place in New York City from April 26-28.
Keller finished his five-year Bobcat career with 427 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and three interceptions. Keller is one of only eight Bobcat defenders to ever record 400 tackles or more.
Strum was a third-team All-MAC selection in 2011 and a second-teamer in 2010. Strum played in 38 games in his Bobcat career, including at least 11 in each of his last three seasons.
The inaugural Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in Tucson was played in 2011, when Mississippi quarterback Jeremiah Masoli led the "Stripes" team to a 40-34 win over the "Stars."

Update: Due to some mis-information, the original story contained the incorrect information that Ohio OL Joe Flading would be playing in the All-Star game, when in fact Strum was the offensive lineman who made the trip. Flading was not invited to the event.
