Man Dies After Last Week’s Pike County Fire

A Pike County man has died after a fire destroyed his home last week
According to the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office, the adult male died Sunday in a Huntington, West Virginia hospital as result of the injuries suffered during the fire.
The fire happened on Beavers Ridge Road in Peebles on January 9.
A female and her adult son were also in the home at the time of the fire and were able to escape.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
This is the fourth fire-related fatality in Ohio since the beginning of the year.
A fire marshal's spokesman says there were 11 fire-related fatalities by the same date in 2011.
