Craigslist Murder Suspect Indicted On 28 Counts
< < Back to craigslist-murder-suspect-indicted-28-countsAn Ohio man has been charged with kidnapping, robbery and aggravated murder in what authorities say was a scheme to rob people who replied to a job ad on Craigslist.
The 28-count indictment against Richard Beasley announced today in Akron accuses him of killing three men and wounding a fourth in August, October and November.
If convicted of the aggravated murder charges, Beasley could be sentenced to death.
The 52-year-old has denied involvement in the plot, which lured single and older out-of-work men to a nonexistent farm in rural southeastern Ohio.
