Three Charged In Scioto County Homicide

Three men are in custody on murder charges after a body was found in a burned out truck in Scioto County Wednesday night.
Thomas Steinhauer, 47, of Portsmouth, Raymond Linkous, 35, of Wheelersburg, and David Gerald, 37, of Wheelersburg, each face one count of aggravated murder.
The men have also been charged with aggravated arson, gross abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini says in a press release his office received a 911 call Wednesday night that a truck was on fire on the side of Junior Furnace Powellsville Road.
Deputies and Green Township Fire Department firefighters responded to the location and found a body in the truck after the fire was put out.
The three men are held on $212,500 bond.
They will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court Friday.
