OU Southern To Receive Capital Funds
< < Back to ou-southern-receive-capital-fundsAn Ohio University campus is set to receive money from a bill passed by the Ohio House of Representatives.
State representative Terry Johnston (R-McDermott) announced the Ohio House passed House Bill 482, which is the capital appropriations budget.
The Ohio University Southern campus will receive $420,000 for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems as well as lighting upgrades.
The bill also contains $150,000 for classroom and laboratory renovations, as well as $200,000 for repairs to the Collins Center.
House Bill 482 includes $400 million in investment for the state's universities.
It does not fund new projects.
