Southeast Ohio Woman Goes To Jail For Fraud
< < Back to southeast-ohio-woman-goes-jail-fraudThe Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation says 11 individuals have been convicted of charges related to defrauding Ohio's workers' compensation system during May.
One of the 11 is a Gallia County woman.
Maria Patterson of Vinton pleaded guilty to felony counts of workers' compensation fraud and forgery.
She submitted false documents in order to obtain disability benefits.
Patterson was sentenced to 180 days incarceration on each count and ordered to pay more than $7400 in restitution.
