A boil order for the area has also been lifted.
US Route 33 is not expected to re-open until Monday afternoon following a traffic accident that forced the closure of the route.
According to Nelsonville Public Information Officer Dan Pfeiffer, the road is closed between Hocking Parkway and Monroe Street in Nelsonville.
Drivers are asked to follow detours on Hocking Parkway and State Route 691.
The accident caused damage to an electrical pole.
Pfeiffer says crews from American Electric Power are working on the pole, but intermittent power outages may take place in Nelsonville during the work.
The repairs are expected to be completed by noon.
